Tick, tick, tick ...
Counting the hours now, if not the minutes until I leave my job. 12 years is a long time. Probably too long, to be honest. 12 weeks as a notice period is definitely too long. I left the job mentally way back in April so dragging things out until June has been fairly tortuous. Still nearly there now :0)
I've been struggling to settle on projects to knit recently so I've had a few false starts. This gorgeous yarn has been started on and frogged 3 times so far.
Skeinqueen's Silk Kimono aran weight in Phoenix. I was thinking of a scarf, and then maybe another crochet cardigan but but now I'm veering more towards this ribbed shrug. What do you think ? Scarf or shrug ?
The other night tho' I found my mojo again and made a start on this. Yes. I know. I should be finishing other things first. Shut up. I'm having fun !
The yarn (DB Rialto Aran) was intended to be Currer but quite a few of the Ravellers who've tried it have found it an odd shape on their body - plus I'm not sure how much wear I'd really get from a short-sleeved aran weight cardigan ?
But this I love
And who knows, I may even get it finished in my 11 days off between jobs :0)
Better go. The "leaving do" calls !
